• Ransomware remains the top threat, with over 500 incidents reported annually, nearly unchanged from last year despite law enforcement disruption.

• One hacking incident per minute is now the average across the UK, according to the 2025 Cyber Security Breaches Survey.

• Public concern is surging: 56% of UK adults fear future hacks, and only 24% believe their data is secure.

• Major breaches have hit Heathrow Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, Marks & Spencer, and Co-op in recent months
